Our Mission
Put simply, we believe 'social' media is no longer social.
Social media platforms, originally sought after creating a platform where people could branch out, make new friends, and reconnect with old ones. It was essentially a virtual bridge that connected social circles.
Today, it feels like these platforms do everything but that. Instead of encouraging people to build relationships beyond the screen, they've traded real connection for likes on curated personas. The world is 'chronically online' – where proactivity is obsolete, and social bridges broken.
Our mission? Rebuild the very bridge that social media once built – then broke.
A Little Push Can Go a Long Way
Social inertia—whether caused by boredom, indecision, or anxiety—keeps people from taking the first step. But we all know that once you get started, things become easier. Sometimes, all you need is a little push.
That's where present comes in.
How?
With a present—a context-aware prompt or "virtual push" to do an activity. Each present includes a time, place, and a list of participants.
We designed the "present" to be the link between the virtual and the real world.

Daily present
present sends you a present every day including a cool activity. You and your friends receive the same present.
INSPO
To every present you can share memories. Memories are short videos which capture moments. Inspire yourself in the INSPO feed by what your friends have done recently.
Events
presents feature small local events in selected cities. This could be the karaoke night in your local pub. The local insights? present intelligence knows them all.
What to Do Next Feature
Find events and things to do around that match your and your friends' interests mutually.
User Generated presents
You can now create your own presents and send them to your friends. You could also host an event on present.
INSPO Algorithm
present's INSPO Feed features an advanced recommendation algorithm, which shows you the memories of creators that will likely inspire you to new adventures.
Places
presents will feature specific places liked by your peers. Find and search for the best places on the map.
